To Him

Your love is what I was created for; it crept into my heart without notice and caused a stir deep within.

I have never known this before; what is this thing you have given me?

Is it a fantasy from my childhood filled with brilliant imaginations?  Is it the momentous occasion planned for me by the universe full of intent and expectation? 

To understand this feeling is like trying to unravel all my emotions at once during those times when you held me close and kissed me softly.

This dream of you is my blessing and I give you complete control of my heart as you have proven yourself just and able to maintain this precious gift of mine.

Call it a fantasy, call it sublime, call it incredible, call it insatiable, call it anything, just never take it away for this is what love is supposed to be. 

All those times I wondered, hoped and prayed for.... you.  I never really thought it was possible to have someone so incredible like....you.

This day is locked away for safekeeping and I will never allow anyone to turn the lock or open my safe because this what I possess is all for you and only you.

Just the thought of you makes my eyes turn to waterfalls and my heart beat uncontrollably because you are  God's gift to me and I will uplift, uphold and love you for all time because you are .....MY KING.

To love you is to be whole and complete.  This creation that I have become is all due to your nurturing spirit and for that you will never want, desire or need for anything.

I will be your light if life becomes dark, your sun when there are clouds, your compass whenever you feel lost and your strength if you begin to feel weak.

My purpose is to create a life for you that is unmatched or unparalleled.  I stand in awe of the elegance you personify and am aware no other comes close.

Just to stand and hold you gives me the opportunity to see what it really means to have it all.  You are intoxicating and to breath you in gives me life and for that, I thank you.

My love is not jealous nor selfish because I am in love with you and I will always place you in the forefront and make you accessible to all of life's goodness.  

My eyes shall never wander, my mind shall not falter and I will never lose sight of how important you are to me because this is awe inspiring to me.

You are an essential part of my life.  You are my rib.  My lobster.  My past.  My present and my future.
